DuPont Tychem 4000 Superior Protection Coveralls, with Hood, XXXXL

Offers superior resistance to chemical permeation by PCBs and other hazardous solvents. Made of white DuPont Saranexâ„¢ Tyvekâ„¢, a film of Saran resin sandwiched between two layers of polyethylene. Provides a good protective barrier from liquids of many kinds, an effective, reliable shield against heavy sprays and wet conditions. The hooded coveralls feature a respirator fit and have elastic wrists and ankles. Bound seams. White.

DuPont is a leader in developing materials that act as highly effective barriers against hazards. Apparel made of DuPont Tyvek® material combine the best qualities of film, woven fabric, and paper. DuPont Tyvek® is a tough, lightweight fabric that has outstanding tensile and tear strength, is equally strong (wet or dry) and is treated with a topical antistatic agent to minimize static build-up.

  • Resists water penetration, is nonabsorbent, and offers you excellent splash protection.
  • Performs well in all types of hostile work environments.
  • 100% polyethylene is chemically and biologically inert. Its physical properties are virtually unaffected by most organic and inorganic chemicals including acids, bases, and salts.
  • Garments of spunbonded olefin are disposable, eliminating costly decontamination procedures.
  • Provides an effective barrier against skin exposure during mixing, loading or spraying agricultural chemicals (the most common cause of worker poisoning).
  • Provides highly effective protection against fibers, such as Asbestos, or particle contaminants down to sub-micron size.
  • Can be used in contamination controlled environments (cleanrooms).
  • High-density polyethylene contains no additives to flake off and cause contamination.
In addition, DuPont Tyvek® protective clothing can be used while sandblasting, painting or spraying, or processing food.

All DuPont Tyvek® ProtectiveWear® apparel complies with the latest ANSI sizing standards. In keeping with our quality requirements, DuPont Tyvek ProtectiveWear is also required to pass dynamic fit tests that match it against demanding critical stretches common in industrial work. As a result of this up-to-date garment sizing and fit-testing, the DuPont Tyvek ProtectiveWear garment design can reduce rips and tears. Workers will also appreciate a fit that is consistent from garment to garment. An offering of styles and a range of sizes from medium through 4X large accommodate both men and women in a variety of jobs and environments.
